*grin* Tom was a tiny little bit too late, eh? Though they're both right - Sam couldn't have asked her before the Quest, but now it is about time.

Author Reply: Yes, indeed--it's about time!

Whoops...awkward! Poor Tom. :)

Author Reply: Hehehehehe! Yes, a day late--but probably much relieved! Thanks, my Lady.

Glad to see your take on the "Ask her already, Sam!" issue. I never thought that Rosie was too pleased by him up and leaving without saying anything, and I imagine her family wouldn't be too happy either.

But here Sam's already taken matters into his own hands. Good for him!

Author Reply: Yes, Sam finally felt he had things sufficiently on the way back to normal to ask her at last, so saved himself from a thumping from his best friend. Heh! Her family must have wondered what was taking him so darned long!

And high time too that Sam marries his faithful Rose!

Author Reply: Oh, indeed, Linda! Thanks so!

Very nice indeed - brought a small blush to my cheeks at the thought of Sam 'speaking' with Rose........

Author Reply: It did? How flattering!

Thanks, Agape.

Seems as if Sam spoke just in time!

Author Reply: Apparently. I have a feeling that if he hadn't Tom would have considered pounding him a bit! Heh!

Thanks.

Ah, so Tom's taking matters into his own hands with a procrastinating Sam... although apparently he didn't need to. Very sweet!

Author Reply: Well, just how long were they supposed to remain patient? Rosie was remarkably patient with Sam, I always felt.
