| I read this first on the MEFA site but was unable to leave a review at the time. I'm glad to see it here. This was hysterical. I loved the references to places in Middle-earth that are given a slightly modern twist as if one could fly from Rivendell to Chicago and points west. Legolas in all this is very funny simply because he is the only one in the group not stressing out over all the beeping as security whistles go off with every knife and skillet the Fellowship owns. Frodo’s solution as to how to get the Ring past security was hysterical. In spite of the modern setting, you managed to keep everyone, even the elven security guards in character. Not always an easy thing to do even when writing in a more canon setting but you did it with aplomb. Well done! | |
