I think this quite original and well done! I love that love that is instantly between the two, so very opposite the reaction of Denethor. *hugs Faramir*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

A most moving vignette of one of the most seminal moments in Aragorn's life. I liked Hands, but this extended version is much improved.

Nice, short and sweet. One typo in PP #3, where me men should be my men. Fun read :-)

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review and for pointing out the typo which I've now fixed.

Isn't is a wondrous moment for the reader when Faramir opens his eyes and knows his king! I haven't tired of reading the various takes on it and this is a very good interpretation of how that moment came to be.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I love that moment too,it is oneone that sends tingles down the spine!I enjoy seeing different interpretations as well,Raksha's is my favourite.

Very gripping and vivid... I especially liked the line "The darkness seems to cling to me as if a thing alive." It would have been a horrible place to be trapped in, and what a feeling it must have been to have felt that hand take his. I enjoyed this very much.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased this gripped you.It is quite scary to imagine what the Dark Vale must have been like!

The wonderful meeting between returned King and dying Steward never gets old, does it...A fine interpretation.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed my latest retelling of my favourite scene. No matter how often I return to this,I always see something from a new angle.
