A gentle enough leavetaking he's known. May all of them find much reason to rejoice!

Author Reply: May they indeed! Much darkness still ahead but what glorious light awaits...

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

This is just so beautiful Antane.

Author Reply: Hantanyel, my dear - so glad you enjoyed and even more glad to hear from you that you did! Sorry to be late in replying. *hugs*

You crafted a beautiful story, Antane, and a very loving one. Passages like this are pure poetry:

him being made part of starlight hisself, and they won’t have so far to travel down to him, if he’s already on top where they can reach him the soonest.

Author Reply: Well, Sam did like to speak poetry, so I suppose it only makes sense he would write it also. :) So glad you enjoyed, my dear! *hugs*

There's so much love in this story, it eases the pain in going through all this with Frodo. Your analogies of the butterfly, and giving birth, are very good ones.

Author Reply: Thank you so much, my dear, so glad you appreciate and enjoyed, and endured through all the angst! Where would Frodo and the whole world be without hobbity love? :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

There is grief, but they sense the promise as well. Excellent. And love the idea that Frodo is being reborn as Frodo the White.

Author Reply: Le hannon, my dear! So glad you approve of the idea of Frodo the White. :)

At least he knows fully well how much they love him!

Author Reply: And how much he loves them. That's what they all needed to show. I read in a book about PTSD and how corrosive it is to the soul, “Prayer is being with God or another person" which I thought was a beautiful way of expressing it.

“Ring-bearer you have been,” Merry whispered, “but you were mine first"

What a gentle, lovely exchange.

Author Reply: Le hannon, my dear! Glad you enjoyed. :)

Indeed, joy and pain! How delightful--and sad.

Author Reply: Hantanyel, my dear Larner! It must have been a wonderful and terrible time for him.

"He beheld them with the eyes of his heart." That's so lovely. As is this...

He held his master-brother-child in his embrace as he had in the Tower and happiness overwhelmed his grief, since he knew he could hold him much longer now than he had been able to then. When it came time for breakfast, Aragorn found them still peacefully sleeping together.

What comfort Frodo can have, he has certainly been gifted with.

Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed, my dear! That scene in the Tower is my very favorite of the entire tale.

I am glad Nienna is with him now. May he fimd peace.

Author Reply: I'm glad too! I've wanted to write about him and Nienna and Este for a long time and it's finally coming out here in little blessed bits. That was one of my favorite parts. :) May he indeed find peace.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
