Odd Tales with Questionable Outcomes  by Grey Wonderer 9 Review(s)

LOL! Pippin certainly does owe Merry a few, and he's gotten him back and then some! This is great! I love Merry's insistance that the sheep were dancing, and his comments to the sheep after the others are gone. Thanks for the laugh!

Author Reply: I'm glad you liked it. It's totally impossible but if anyone could teach sheep to dance, it would be Pippin. hehehe
Thank you for laughing!

I shall never look at sheep in quite the same way again (or tomatoes for that matter)! I shall be picturing them dancing.

I'm wondering if Merry and Frodo will ever find out the truth - and will they take their revenge?

*still giggling*

Author Reply: A great way to combine the two fics would be if they came across the tomatoes at some point and *they* were dancing. LOL
Your review made me think of that.
Ah, there may very well be revenge at some point. You just never know.
Thanks so much for reviewing! (Now, I am seeing dancing tomato plants!)

Now which sheep dance was it, the sam-baaa, or the rum-baaa? Gosh, that was awful, wasn't it, I'll stop while I'm ahead :D I've seen a poodle dancing at the end of a conga line, so maybe sheep can too. I guess anything is possible if there's a Took involved!

Author Reply: LOL
Oh, thank you for the dance names! Your review is funnier than my story! Bravo! I salute you and command the sheep to do a special dance just in your honor.

"I'll grant you that the middle one isn't too good at it but the little one on the end was very good"

That was when I started laughing out loud, and I haven't stopped since. Wonderful!

Author Reply: I love it when these make people laugh. Thanks for that.

I figure some sheep are just naturally better dancers than others, don't you? : )

It had taken him two full months to teach those sheep to dance but it had been worth it.

ROTFL!!!

This is one of my favourites! Thank you for posting it again :)

So, we had first Sam and then Merry being "pranked" (is that a verb?). And each time Pippin was the prankster.

Next one should be Frodo, right?

Author Reply: You may be right. I haven't really written a prank for Pippin to play on Frodo. Hardly fair as I've let Frodo get off a well-played prank on Pippin before. I might have to give this some thought...

I am so glad to hear that this is one of your favorites. That's so sweet of you to say. Thanks for reading, laughing, and reviewing.

Pippen never will learn will he? First walking tomatoes and now dancing sheep!
Just how do you teach sheep to dance?!
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: I figure that teaching sheep to dance is lots of work and takes patience. LOL
Thanks so much for reading and for encouraging this madness that would be my writing.

ROTFLMBO! *wipes eyes* I had forgotten all about this one!

You just *have* to write the one where Merry finds out, and decides to get even...

Author Reply: I've meant to do that but just haven't got round to it yet. Maybe something will come to me later this weekend. I seem to be in a rather odd mood. : )

"It's a better dancer than you are!" Merry shouted. "You dance more like that middle one. You're always a step or two off."

"Don't insult me just because you've gone barking mad," Pippin said crossly.

Heeee. I know what I'll be counting on my way to sheep sleep tonight.

Author Reply: If they dance, they are much harder to count. : )
Thanks for reading this! You did inspire me to write it.

LOL!! What happened? Did I, like, crawl under a rock or something in 2007? I don't recall this story at all. Oh, yeah, now I remember -- 2007 was the year of Overtime. Oh, this was another good story that I'm glad I caught tonight. Well done, my friend!

Author Reply: Yes, 2007 was not a good year for extra time, was it? I think we both worked way too much that year. Glad you enjoyed this one. I'm off to bed now. Gotta sleep a couple hours before work starts! : )
