Dear Soledad: A question have you finished Elevnhome and when are you going to write your next story? I can't wait for a new one. I like your work.LOL Galathil Author Reply: Yes, the first part is finished now - thank you for reminding me to change the story status. I'm planning to continue with "Emissary of the Mark" during picowrimo's November session - I hope to finish that one in another two or three chapters. Thanks for your interest. :)

I am sad that this has ended because I've looked forward so much to each chapter as I am recovering from my own illness, but as a fellow writer, I feel you are right to end it while it's still blooming. I shall be delighted to pick up on your other pieces, I really do love your writing style so much. Please don't diappear again from the Tolkien writing scene, you were much missed. Author Reply: Thank you! I'm so glad that you found some comfort in this tale while recovering - and special thanks for telling me, it makes all the work seem worthwhile. This story is very dear to me; after all, I have worked on it for ten years, even though there was a six-year-break in the middle. I didn't want to ruin it by forcing myself to go on with it. But there will be more, I promise. As for the other stories, summer holidays and picowrimo are coming up, both of which are very, very good for writing, so I'm hopeful. I never intended to stay away from this fandom, it was just so that my creative juices had run dry for a while. Hopefully, it won't happen again any time soon. Thanks for reading and reviewing,I'm looking forward to hearing from you again.

Im sorry to see the end of Elvenhome, its become one that I look forward to posts of on a regular basis. I will happily anticipate volume 2 and 3, as well as Mazarbul. Just keep writing! Your stories are a joy. Author Reply: Tell me such things more often, and I'm sure the muse will be inspired to work overtime. :) I'm glad you liked the story. Thanks for telling me. Feedback and encouragement are the things that keep me going.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to when you pick it up again. I'm curious to see, not only how Celebrían deals with life in Aman proper, but also how well Aracáno and Elenwë have integrated themselves back into Elven society in the interim. Author Reply: Thank you. I thought it would be better to end it here, while I still enjoyed working on it. We'll see when the sequel will come. I've got definite ideas about what will happen, but right now, a break seems necessary. Thank you for reading and for the support. It's very much appreciated.

Thank you for writing this. I have followed it since you started updating again, and have enjoyed reading it. I'm already looking forward to the second part! Author Reply: Well, that may take some time, but I already know what's going to happen - at least in vague outline. I'm glad you liked the story; thanks for leaving a review and letting me know.

Thank you so much for this engaging tale. While I wish you were continuing it at this time, I certainly understand your need to rest. I do want to thank you for "finishing" the tale rather than leaving it forever in progress. I much prefer a resolution and I like your plans. Again, thank you. Author Reply: I wanted to come at least to a temporary closure; I felt that it would be better for the readers and the story itself. I've got too many unfinished WIPs already, and intend to pick up two of them during the upcoming picowrimo summer session. Thanks for reading and reviewing, I'm glad you enjoyed the tale.

well, for these learning is an important part of healing. May they find more joy in their stay! Author Reply: It's been my experience that there's much healing in learning. Thanks, Larner. Now, to the Rohirrim and the Dwarves!

Awww, it's over? I was hoping to hear more tales! *is pouting like Aracáno* But I do understand what you mean about the muse dying, and I certainly hope that it will come back soon so you can write those other stories that you've mentioned. :) Thank you so much for sharing this story with us, it's been so wonderful and inspiring, and I'm sure I'm going to re-read it many times. :) Author Reply: There will be more tales, I promise. It's just so that I felt I was slowly burning out, putting myself under pressure to "produce" a new chapter regularly. I already have ideas about the sequel, but I don't want to start anything new before I've made at least some headway with the other two stories. Which are about the Rohirrim and the Dwarves, respectivel. Thank you for reading and commenting faithfully, it has been a great time with you. :)

Soledad, I enjoy this story so much. it is so magical, and can see the moon and the sun and their glorious creation. It is magic and logic at the same time, beautiful. Don't stop writing. So good to see Celebrian recovering. And Mahtan, what a powerful personality. I think that Celebrian could be good for them as well. Author Reply: I have wanted to write something about Mahtan for so long, and the right story never came along - until now. I am glad you like him. And yes, Celebrían is recovering, although she still has a long way to go. Thanks for reading and commenting, it is very much appreciated.

So imaginative a tale the Master wrought to first explain the vessels of sun and moon. I rejoice that she can at last dance again, and that even now her ability to love and know she IS loved sustains her. Author Reply: Thanks, Larner, I'm so glad that you still enjoy this story, despite the fact that not much is actually happening in it. Celebrían is such an underused character, I enjoy writing her because she's not burdened with clichés and expectations.
