Elvenhome  by Soledad 3 Review(s)

The laughter itself is a sign she is healing, I think! Elrond would be glad to hear it, I am certain.

And more of her husband's family history is revealed to her.

Author Reply: Considering that Elrond was related to just about every single important Elf, I assume she still has a lot to learn about relatives. *g*

Yes, Elrond would be glad. None like the Súruli to lift a troubled spirit on a feast.

It would have been an honour to meet the first Legolas. I can understand if Glorfindel is not fond of talking about the fall of Gondolin, who can speak easily of their own death? It is hard enough to speak of the death of others, ones own must be harder still to talk about. But it is also nice to hear Celebrian laughing again, I have the feeling she has not had a good laugh for some time.

Author Reply: The first Legolas was someone who always intrigued me. When this story was first posted to FF.Net, the Silmficcers wanted me to bring back Gimli the blind Elf, too - but that seemed a little too much, even for my creative anachronism. *g*

But if I ever write the Forgotten Realms/Lost Tales x-over, I'll include Gimli (the Elf).

It is getting better with every new chapter, to know all this people from the old legends, wonderful...She laughed, good, maybe healing is starting now.

Author Reply: Thanks. :) Yes, the healing has started, but she still has a long way to go, I'm afraid.
