Love the look at the many discarded characters and a few discarded concepts as well. And it's interesting to see the theft of the Silmarilli from the point of view of those Noldo who survived to return to the Undying Lands, even if they never go beyond Tol Eressea.

Author Reply: I do love these older tales. I find I can connect to the older characters a lot better than to the pompous ones we meet in the Silmarillion later. *ducks from flying rotten tomatoes*

When I think about Melkor I get the image of an envious child, if s/he wants something all ways, no matter how hideous, are tried. I also have the feeling that the others, with a few exeptions looked at the seeming and not at Melkor´s heart. I wonder what sad things Celebrian will be told next.

Author Reply: You know, it's an interesting comparisation - I think you're into something with that. Yes, Celebrían will have to learn a lot more sad things before the feast is over.

Author Reply: Thank you. :)

There are four more chapters written, and after that, let's hope that I'll find the inspiration to continue the tale. Your lovely comments are a great inspiration in themselves. ;)
