Elvenhome  by Soledad 3 Review(s)
FiondilReviewed Chapter: 20 on 1/21/2012
An excellent chapter, Soledad, as we move out of the past and into a hopefully brighter future for Celebrían. Love the Maia. I can well see her being Olórin's sister.

Oh, and by the way, the word is "missive" not missile, unless, of course, Meril did indeed send a message rocket winging its way across the Bay of Eldamar to Tirion. LOL!

Looking forward to the next installment with great anticipation.

Author Reply: Thanks for spotting a mistake. English will be the death of me one day - and people wonder why I don't bother with Elven languages and archaic stuff, too. *runs off to correct*

Yes, I thought it would be time to return to the present and look out to the future. Especially as the Noldóran and his family will have their first appearance in the next chapter. It's a very different approach from yours, so I'm curious how you will like them. *g*

Oh, this update made my day! :)

I really like Erunyauvë so far! She seems so fun, and not what you expect from a Maia of Nienna, but it feel very right at the same time. Though poor Celebrían must be suffering from quite a lot of culture shock from having Maiar and Valar taking such an interest in her... I'm glad Erunyauvë will be staying for a while!

And oh, you've had Elenwë be Reborn! Her meeting with Celebrían will be interesting... and so will Arafinwë's, as soon as he gets that message!

In short, I really loved this chapter, and I'm really looking forward to the next! :)

The healing is definitely beginning, as it should. And to find herself knowing anticipation is certainly worthwhile. I love the Maia.

Author Reply: I'm quite fond of her myself, considering that she was never planned to appear in this tale. *g*
