What an unexpected twist--to see who it is that he dreams of, and why! A superb piece, Ellyn! Excellently written. Author Reply: At first, I thought to write about remembering a man whom my character had killed in a battle - that would be a troublesome, grievous memory too, and I'm sure it wouldn't be easy to forget that either. But then this new idea came, and I thought that this would be a better story. Thanks for reading and reviewing, I am glad you like it.

Feanor has a lot to answer for, though this poor Elf's battle-savagery was his own damnation, it was the Oath that brought him into the hell of Alqualonde. Quite an effective story of the casualties of Feanor's quest, the young girl, and the narrator too, since he will never be the same and cannot forgive himself. Author Reply: I believe that neither those Noldor who killed an opponent with a sword in their hand can easily forget what they had done; and killing an innocent civilian in much worse. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes. Thanks for your review!
