| Elladan's broken ribs are cretainly one of the physical concerns as they are not yet set and can be dangerous if there's any internal injuries where Maren and his wife would not know because they're not true healers. But Elladan's other wounds are not healing ... but because of his grief? grief for what? I can understand that Elrohir may feel grief because he half believes taht Elladan may be gone and he may have shut himself up that he cannot feel Elladan's weak but alive link. While Elladan's physcial injuries may already consume much of his energy already that I doubt he can concern about Elrohir's current state at the moment. So...why Elladan's wounds are not healing? What is Glorfindel referring body and soul? Author Reply: Hi Viresse, Glorfindel is referring to, that an elf can also die when his mental stability is disturbed i.e. grief or a broken heart or something like that. Elladan´s wounds do not heal properly, because Elrohir has cut the bond with his brother and Elladan is not able to reach him, to draw some comfort or stenght. | It is indeed a concern when someone has been as badly treated as was Elladan. Now, to see the two brothers both steered back to living once more. Author Reply: the important thing is to arrive home in time and that the brothers will find the way to one-another and back to life. Wait and see. The next chapter is on the way.
