Although I've read that even 'white' bread in Medieval times was what we'd call wholemeal nowadays. And the really dark stuff had bits of grit in it, which wore down your teeth. | It seems to me that Leona is enjoying the outing a lot, despite the discomfort. I almost don't want them to reach Minas Tirith at this rate, even if I'm wondering how Lothy's family, Aragorn and the Rohirrim are taking this back in Cormallen. Author Reply: Hello Whitewave, I think the 'outing' must be a nice change from the mounting pressures of his position, so it's quite likely he's enjoying it. | This is such a fun story! I'm really enjoying it, you paint very vivid pictures of both the landscape they're traveling through and the characters and what they're 'traveling through'. :) Author Reply: Hello Radbooks, I had (and am having) lots of fun writing this, too. And I live about half an hour's drive from the Rhine, so we sometimes go for walks along there. That's the kind of river I picture in my mind, only mostly untouched by man. Thanks for reviewing! | She is falling hard for him, no doubt. It is really a nice trip for them, they will know each other well before reaching the city.
