| What a fascinating conversation! I liked it very much. I agree with Shirebound that Pearl is indeed the person who knows Frodo best. And Frodo shares thoughts with her that he would never have told others. Sadly, Frodo had never the chance to marry, neither Pearl, nor Narcissa! Author Reply: Certainly there was level of intimacy between them (in my-verse, at least) he shared with no one else, and I'm glad I was finally able to indicate that he did not continue to regret that they didn't marry after all. I do love the stories in which Frodo did marry, but can't yet bring myself to produce that kind of AU, although one never knows for certain what may come in time. Thanks so, Andrea. | |
