Sweet - love little Estel and the joy he brings to his mum.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

What beautiful images! How deeply she finds herself committing herself to this son of hers!

Author Reply: Thank you, I'm so pleased you enjoyed this.I see Gilraen as a devoted mother.

I love the thought that Gilraen could see Aragorn as king, at least in this moment of foresight, if not in reality. If only she could've seen him in Minas Tirith...

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I always wish that Gilraen had seen her son crowned too.

A lovely ficlet and great moments between mother and son. Aragorn as the harbinger of spring breaking the Dark Lord's winter works well as Gilraen's vision, since Aragorn is of course instrumental in Sauron's defeat and her visions would naturally have centered on her son rather than on a hobbit Ring-bearer.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I pleased you liked my attempt to write about little Estel and his mother, fairly new territory for me.

That is a most exquisitely enchanting and tender vignette, Linda. I just loved the use you made of the imagery of the seasons to illustrate what Aragorn meant to Gilraen and his people.

I loved Gilraen's flash of foresight too. I think it worked perfectly because it gave us a vivid glimpse of the man the loving child would turn into.

Thank you very much for such a beatiful birthday present.
