I really enjoyed this set of vignettes. They could even stand separately in completeness, but I feel reading one after the other brings a greater deal of depth into the characteristics of those involved. I truly appreciate that you gave distinct voices to both Gilraen and Arathorn; they were neither copies nor opposites, but individuals. Even in such a short amount of time, I felt that I had learned a great deal about their relationship. Again, a very good read, and I thank you. |

That was a lovely piece! You did not only elaborate on the impact the birth of a child has on the life of its parents, but managed to add quite some insight into the life and culture of the Dúnedain as well. Marvellously done. And Aragorn seems to possess a strong personality of his own, even at that tender age. |

This moved me to tears. You draw in so much, right down to the allusion to hope at the end. You evoke Arathorn's love for his wife and son so beautifully without sentimentality. This was just gorgeous. |

I remember that feeling of being able to utterly satisfy another human being that comes with nursing a child. I have never felt that way in any other situation. And I also remember worrying about what life would bring to this tiny creature that I could, for now, keep safe. Wonderful. |
