| Elrond wondered if his brother had looked that way in his coronation in the lost Númenor after the realm had been fully built. What an interesting thing to ponder. It's nice to see Elrond, at the end, contented and at peace. Author Reply: Yes. It was interesting also to me when my muse happened on it. Sadly there was no place for that event in the piece... I do not often write sad stories. Usually they at least end happily... like this. Heheh. But I am glad it did not distract you from the story. I am glad that Elrond here ended his life in Middle-earth contentedly. Well, at least he did, in one aspect of it... He might have a problem once he reached the Lonely Isle and had to tell Celebrian about Arwen's choice... Ow. Thanks, Shirebound, for reading and reviewing. I am glad you liked the story.
