| Quite appropriate for the beginning of summer; especially since we've had some hot weather in my part of the world. I love Faramir's stifling an unrangerly protest at Eowyn's prospective haircut; and Gandalf's grumpiness. Great last line; Pippin is a marvelous character and you capture him well here. Author Reply: It has since cooled off (yay!), but this fic was inspired by the miserably hot weather last week. Most men seem to prefer long hair on women. I don't know why, but it's true.
