This story was so much fun! Just how I imagine Eldarion... :-) Thanks for writing!

What a delightful story! You've done a marvelous job of bringing Eldarion to life in this. I especially loved his outrage at being called a "stupid poofer" and Aragorn's befuddlement over just what a "poofer" might be, and all the cheek-chewing Aragorn resorts to to keep from laughing or smiling and embarrassing his son is sweet. The entire tale was a joy to read. Thank you for writing it.

This was a most enjoyable story. Eldarion is very much his father's son and Aragorn a wise and loving father. The boys and their antics reminded me of the "Just William " books.

I love all your stories during the 4th age. Eldarion is growing to be the child everyone dreams of parenting. Really good job showing honest emotions - father and son. As always, thank you so much.

I'm hoping that Dirchen will get the idea now that he'd best NOT defer unnecessarily to the prince! Heh! He's had a time of it, I'm certain, trying to keep from besting Eldarion. Borion and the other boys do sound as if they've been a lot more fun to be with. And poor Daisy! Bless the poor beast! And love Aragorn's willingness to let Eldarion find his own place with the younger boys. Excellent!

This is the most enjoyable story I've read in a long time. Your Eldarion is very believable, and most certainly his father's son. But how could he not be having such a wise, just and caring father guiding him, and giving him good advice. I see the Reunited Kingdom will continue to be wisely ruled for a very long time indeed. The three boys are so alive, and their adventures so satisfying, I caught myself chuckling aloud a couple of times. Thank you for giving me a most pleasurable evening of reading.

I've never had so much fun reading a story! This was such a delight! So many laughs in between sentences. Unforgettable statements: " Every third person in Pelargir is named Ingold"; "..ravening beasts were not usually named for flowers.". "She lets Dirchen touch them sometimes when they are alone"---Such a typical boy thing to say! --and a typical boy-reaction. Hilarious! This is so reminiscent of the movie "Stand by Me" where friends do what comes natural to them with so much innocence and a little bit of mischief. The quote from the movie comes to mind, " I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve"-- **insert** in Pelargir!" I enjoyed the misadventures of Eldarion and his friends! Thanks for such a wonderful story!

I loved this and giggled all the way through it! Your portrayal of Eldarion was delightful, and I loved all the Ingolds and the other boys. I also loved your Aragorn. You wrote beautifully, describing things so well that I could picture the whole story in my mind. Wonderful! I'm very glad I decided to try it. Thanks for sharing!

Not only the story with more Ingolds than any other ever written, but a wonderful tale of childhood and princedom - I really, really enjoyed it.
