Just wanted you to know I am still reading and very much enjoying this story even though I don't have a specific comment to make.

I was on vacation for a week and am behind in my reading.

Author Reply: Hi Tari. Hope you had a nice time. Glad you're still reading and enjoying the story. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

It seems that Ingwe will recover swiftly. The contrast between Arafinwe and Ingwion is now even stronger than before. I had to laugh at Ingwe's reaction to the changed Arafinwe. So, the Ladies are also in Formenos? Ingoldo must have made his plans for quite a while to be so familiar with this fortress to feel it safe to send all his prisoners there.

Author Reply: Hi obsidanj. Yes, there is a definite contrast between Arafinwë and Ingwion. And certainly Ingwë would not recognize the 'new' Arafinwë, since he remembers the diffident youngest son of Finwë, but just as in our fairy tales, it's usually the youngest son (or daughter) who 'wins' the kingdom in the end. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

oh Ingwë, pull yourself together! You are no bad High King. That´s not worth your position. His compassion for his brother is rally misplaced! I hope he is right that the others are at Formenos too. He has confused things of late - understandable that is. Another heartwrenching chapter. Thank you. Lai

Author Reply: Ingwë is still recovering and of course he has to accept what has happened to him and move on. He'll get there eventually and we know he knows that he is a good High King when we see him in Elf, Interrupted. As for the others being in Formenos.... that remains to be seen. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Lai. I appreciate it.

I'm feeling better. Ingwe is sounding as his old self again.
And it is good that the other ones are in Formenos too, it will easier than running all over Valinor. One Hunt was enough.

Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. Yes, Igwe is recovering. As for whether his wife and daughter are being held prisoners in Formenos or not remains to be seen. Ingwe may be mistaken in his belief. We'll just have to see. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

Ingoldo was insistent on making Formenos his very own personal prison colony, then? Now--to find the Queen!

Author Reply: Ingolod is an opportunist, if nothing else. As for the Queen and Indil, we'll learn of their fate soon enough. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Larner. I appreciate it very much.

Oh, this in not good. Just what was it Ratty and Feanaro were discussing when he snuck into Formanos?

Huggs,
Lynda

Author Reply: Hi Lynda. No, this isn't good, at least it doesn't look like it. We'll see in the next chapter what is really going on. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

Good to see that Ingwë is recovering. Also good to see how a bit of food and a bath give such an improvement in Ingwë's mental state. And as for Ingwë being a bad High King - what sort of King would _Ingoldo_ have made?
So Ingoldo had the ladies as well squirreled away in Formenos? And both he and his guards seem suspiciously familiar with the place - it is quite obvious that he had been in contact with Fëanáro and his people during Fëanáro's exile there. I hope they will be able to find the Ladies quickly!
Ingwë's reaction to the "new" Arafinwë was quite amusing. "Do we know this person? He looks just like my sister’s youngest son, but I have my doubts." *snickers a little* But Ingwë obviously approves of the changes he can see in his nephew - and those changes will also make Arafinwë a good Noldoran!

This chapter also shows how useful a bit of knowledge about first aid can be! You may go through your whole life without actually needing it, but if you need it, you _really_ need it!

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. No doubt that Ingoldo at least had some knowledge of Formenos even if he never entered the valley. He must've had contacts who apprised him of the layout. Whether the ladies are actually there or not, we'll have to wait to find out. And Ingwë does indeed approve of the "new" Arafinwë, recognizing that for better or for worse, he is the Noldóran and will have to deal with him as such rather than as his sister's youngest son. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it.
