This is hilarious!

My favorite line: "Please don't send us to the dungeons, sire!" -- Priceless!

Aw kids...never a dull moment. And I love how Aragorn handled the situation.

A most enjoyable vignette indeed. If adults act like children when discussing their countries and cultures, how can we expect children to act otherwise. Very wise of Aragorn to predict that something like that might happen, and to be ready to interfere with a wise word of council.

Hello Linda Hoyland,

my, I really loved this! Children will be children, regardless of their station, and the seemingly simple lesson in geography was destined to tumble into fisticuffs at some point!

Absolutely delightful!

I particularly liked the name Elestelle. Is that Faramir's and Éowyn's homage to their friend? It's very pretty indeed.

Lovely fic.

Kara's Aunty ;)

Yes,Elestelle is named by Faramir and Eowyn in homage to their best friend. In my story, "Burden of Guilt", she almost dies at birth and Aragorn saves her.
