I rejoice to see the boy coming into his own, learning to trust both his instincts and his training. He has earned that praise from his foster father. Author Reply: Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed this glimpse of young Aragorn's skills emerging.

What a marvelous story, Linda, and a lovely closing chapter. I enjoyed this story very much, and will be sure to re-read it. Author Reply: I'm so pleased that you enjoy this story, thank you. I decided that one of my BTME prompt stories was actually a part of this and I hope it will make the story a fuller portrait of Aragorn as a healer.

Wonderful story! I found it very fitting that at the moment when Aragorn was exhausted and full of doubts about his abilities, Gandalf came to show him the way. And he was right :-) Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review, i'm delighted that you enjoyed my story.

Ah--he calls and Faramir answers, turning from the Light. Wonderful that they can begin their friendship so, and he is able to regain his confidence in such a manner. And I still rejoice that Bergil was able to find the athelas! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I was inspired by Raksha, who was I think the first to hint that Aragorn himself gained through this wonderful healing. It is too easy to overlook Beregond, just a great character.

Hi Linda, I can only agree to the former review. This is one of the best stories I´ve read about Aragorn becoming the healer we know him to be. Very well done. Thank you. Linda, I've already told you, but it bears repeating. I found this last part the perfect ending for this lovely and touching narrative of the difficult path Aragorn had to thread to become a full-fledged healer. Well done indeed. Poor Halbarad! But fortunate to have Aragorn tending to him. I liked how the healing trance bit went... I liked the difficulty Aragorn had in calming his own thoughts and the way he more or less grabbed Halbarad and demanded him to come and then dragged him away from the light. I imagine he might develop a less abrupt approach over time, but poor Halbarad got the literal grab-and-go treatment, didn't he! I also like how Halbarad saw Aragorn, in his full glory, but Aragorn didn't believe him. All in all, a very nice glimpse of Aragorn as a "beginner" healer. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm so pleased you enjoyed this glimpse of Aragorn's early days as a healer. I'm sure Aragorn will improve over time.I wanted to give Halbarad a little glimpse of what Aragorn would become.

I really loved Inzilbeth's cavalier treatment of young Aragorn here; it's in-character, she's an experienced healer and he may be her Chieftain but he's also quite young and hasn't proved himself as a healer. Good chapter! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you liked Aunt Inzilbeth.I grew quite fond of her as I wrote it!
