Sort of "Hamlet meets Wally Cleaver" maybe...or Eddie Haskell...or a synthesis of the two? Something like that...... | |

| A good question! Author Reply: A lot of the old vampire movies feature a "keeper" so I thought to supply mine with one too. Sure, why not? At least it will give Gaergath someone to talk to in the daytime and supply some information. | |

| And he has sold himself to her, apparently. Author Reply: Yes.....I guess he's sort of Greenjade's opposite number, Greenjade starting out as a bad guy and turning good, while Gaergath is a good guy (relatively) who goes bad. I think of him as a rather ordinary young boy who is sadly lacking guidance and self-control, with the natural narcissism and self-centeredness of youth, and his inevitable descent into the dark side could happen to pretty nearly anybody. It's a challenge writing about someone who you know is not going to be redeemed, but an interesting one. Thanks for commenting Larner! ~~~~~{~@ | |
