Author Reply: Yes.....I guess he's sort of Greenjade's opposite number, Greenjade starting out as a bad guy and turning good, while Gaergath is a good guy (relatively) who goes bad. I think of him as a rather ordinary young boy who is sadly lacking guidance and self-control, with the natural narcissism and self-centeredness of youth, and his inevitable descent into the dark side could happen to pretty nearly anybody. It's a challenge writing about someone who you know is not going to be redeemed, but an interesting one. Thanks for commenting Larner! ~~~~~{~@ | |
