Ooooooops! I winced on her behalf.

Author Reply: Spilled slip can be VERY slick--can attest to that from personal experience! (And, yes, I spilled it myself!)

There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip.

Author Reply: That there is, of course. Heh!

This is very interesting.
I'm quite sure you speak out of experience here.

Pippin, however, still has to gain experience. It will be hard for him to concentrate long enough (and solely) on his work.
But I think his auntie will be patient - even after she slipped. Or so I hope ;-)

Author Reply: I loved doing pottery when I was a child and adolescent. I never was any good at the pottery wheel, so the first drabble of course is based on my own experience. I've done some lovely coiled bowls and pots, and some nice pinch pots and modeling. But I was never tall enough to pour slip into a mold without spilling at least some, or so I remember it.

I think that Pippin will have some successes, but, then, he IS Pippin after all!

Looks like they are both in for adventures! :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Oh, yes, indeed, Antane!

Oops!!! He's in for it now!!!

Author Reply: Well, what does one expect from Pippin, after all? Heh!
