The Truth of the Matter  by Ellie 9 Review(s)

Well, some how I do not think Celeborn will go along with this, otherwise he will look like a total fool and he is not that. Haldir and company will find themselves doing a lot of time on the Marches, a couple of centuries or so and I don't think there will be any more visits to the Dunland village either!
Galadrial will not be too pleased either, though I think she will understand why Haldir did it, so maybe only one century and some more pearls from Mithlond?!
You are still a very wicked woman, but I still like you!
LJ

Author Reply: I like your solution involving the pearls! I would like to think that some mercy would have been shown in light of the rescue.

I'm glad you still like me in spite of my wickedness. LOL!

Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing!

This is one case where prurient curiosity at least managed to allow them to save important lives! I wonder--will Celeborn ever tell his wife the truth of it?

Author Reply: I'm not sure if he will tell her or not. I am sure that he would have a very serious discussion with Haldir and company though. LOL!

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Hmm. So, how was it they were rescued, and who made it appear that they had fallen from a tree?

An intriguing mystery.

Author Reply: Yes, it is a mystery... And you will have to wait a little longer to find out the answers to those questions and others. muwahahahahaha

Thanks for reading and reviewing! :-)

I remember this story! Well I like this version, and I hope to heck someone gets these hairy tribes men and teaches them a lesson! Hugs The Imp

Author Reply: This is different from the version of the story which I started but never finished posting elsewhere way back when. I'm glad you like this version. We'll see what happens next in a few days!

Thanks so very much for reading and reviewing! I greatly appreciate it!

Hugs back at you,
Ellie

This does not sound the least bit good, and I appreciate how surprised and vulnerable each of them has felt. Men aren't supposed to be able to easily sneak up on a group of Elves, and particularly not THIS set of Elves!

Author Reply: No, it is not good. I decided to take the regular heroes of fanfic and place them way out of their element and see what happens. Unfortunately, they aren't doing very well, are they?

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Someone is claiming this as a sacred herd? Most interesting!

Author Reply: Yes, they are, and they aren't the average Joe from next door, either. Glad to peak your curiousity.
