What a great story! itchy blankets and all LOL! I'm glad he will reward the old woman so well. Loved your Faramir in this.

Very nice little vignette... I like Faramir's tenderness and his anger, nice juxtaposition between the two equally intense feelings. And the itchy blankets! Warm but at a price. LOL I bet one of the first things Aragorn sends her is soft blankets. :)

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed this.I'm certain Aragorn bought the old lady the best and softest blankets that could be found. I'm pleased you liked Faramir here.

Ah--a most fortuitous cottage to find shelter in. And between the blankets and his companions, Aragorn is well served indeed! And one elderly woman will know a far more comfortable old age than she'd looked for, I'm certain!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm sure the old lady will never want for anything again.

I liked this tale very much indeed when I first read it. The revised version reads even better.

A lovely birthday gift for Aragorn, and for all of us.
