Glad he could put his doubts behind him.

Author Reply: Somehow he always does, even if it's hard.

Wow....your words are like strokes of a paintbrush. Such wonderful and vivid imagery swirling in my mind. I cannot wait for the next post. THESE...ARE...BEAUTIFUL!

And I love your Aragorn/Thorongil.

Author Reply: Thank you very much for the nice words!

I always love your portrayal of Aragorn (or Thorongil as he is here). It does seem very like him to weight the death of the girl against his own conscience and his own failures. And it's also very like him, fortunately, that he finds hope even in the pitiless desert, and with that hope the strength to face the next challenge. I'm both looking forward to and dreading his arrival in that tavern!

Author Reply: Ah yes, this one was like written for Aragorn - "write a story or poem or create artwork where the character conquers his or her fears." He does it so many times in his life that it's a part of his personality. And always he finds the strength to stand up and face the next challenge. Btw, if you want to follow the prompts, they can be found here: The next one will decide what happens in the tavern, or if he even gets there in that chapter =)
