| OH. THIS letter. Do you think Saruman wrote it. (Or Grima for him?) Do you think Théodred actually did that? Do you think Éomer knows? Do you think THÉODEN knows he wrote it? Or signed it? Maybe if only riderless steeds didn’t return to where they came from—-yes, actually what if he was Brego in the movie; though Brego was apparently Théodred’s, and I don’t remember Éomer bringing him back. By which I mean he (Boromir’s horse) should have been like Brego and found Boromir. But I guess Boromir made it to the north side and the horse didn’t. If only Éomer and Théodred could have met Boromir more and in happier time. —Shield Maiden of Rohan, for technically this has to do with Rohan | |

| It would be so very dreadful to have to write a letter of this sort and worse yet to receive it. As always, I enjoyed your writing very much. It's good to see something new from you. Author Reply: I've been writing - but a childrens' picture book and a YA fantasy novel. I've always thought the role of commander in this instance has to be horrendous. | |

| First, I am so honored that my tale managed to spark such a series from you, Agape! How wonderful! And second, this is the letter every parent dreads to receive. And although we know that Boromir is not lost as yet, we know it is coming, and that Theoden's dread will also come to be. Well, well done. Author Reply: It is amazing how we can be touched by another's story. I'm glad you wrote that one so that my little Muse could 'jump on board.' As for Theoden's dread - well, we all know the outcome... Would that I could change it. I don't think I've ever read a 'Theodred lives' tale... Would be nice. | |
