Poor Bandobras would have had sixteen nicotine fits in two days'. Oh, well.

Dear Le Rouret,

What a nice story! Good it be that you are inspired through Lord Of The Rings and A Knight's Tale?

For me the most funniest thing was that Eowyn and Arwen recognized Legolas much more earlier than Faramir and Arwen.

Longing for your next chapter.

Have a nice weekend.

Kind regards,
Caddy

Another wonderful chapter, but I had expected nothing less. Though I fear that the Green Knight suffers from more than a mere scratch at the moment, and, even worth, Herion is dead and his horse will follow soon. At least Hatchet remained unscathed as it seems. But what devilry was this? Apparently someone has prepared Herion's lance with the same substance Saruman used to breach the wall of Helm's Deep. And in order to prepare that lance, Herion's own lance had to be stolen so that he would have to take one from the stock that would be easier to reach. The question that remains (well, one of several questions) is whether the other knights that have been robbed of their weapons were equipped with similarly prepared lances as well or if that part of the theft served only as a ruse.

The next question is to what degree Belecthor was involved in that affair, it was his stock of lances after all. But he seems genuinly upset about the involvement of men under his command in the attack on Bandy and the theft of the weapons, so that I tend to hold him innocent after all. Egalmoth and Eradan, on the other hand, are another matter entirely. Though Eradan seemed less offended by Faramir's refusal to let them read Aragorn's letter and at least speaks openly about proving himself worthy.

The part that left me laughing out loud, however, was Elessar's letter. In spite of his obvious haste, he still had to add his entire lineage and rank to that letter (at least he omitted Thorongil, wingfoot and Estel).:P

Absolutely brilliant. As I've already told you, I love your work. You are amazing. But please, you have to update quickly, if only for my own sanity. How could you leave us all hanging like that? tsk tsk very nasty...hehe

Your story is great!!! Very original, well writen, highly detailed.. very rich indeed. It is so easy to imagine everything you write. But I like it so much I always read the chapters two or three times each monday!!
Most of fanfics you see around the net are real garbage. Girls dropping on Middle-Earth or slash or sadist fics with "plots"(if you can call that) whose sole purpose are to describe the characters being grostesquely tortured and raped. Stories like yours are really rare but they are so good that makes the effort of searching worth it. Finding a diamond makes the effort of digging through the mine of coal more than worth.
I have only one complain... in the beginning you updated two or three times per week, now just once. Ai, cant you please update at least twice a week??? The wait is always terrible!!

Ai! My heart goes out to poor Legolas! If his hasn't already gone "out" as well; yikes, you made me jumpy for the next thirty minutes! Certainly the last thing on my mind was a research paper.

But anyway, all hopes and fears aside, let's go about this in an orderly fashion:

Again, I'm very impressed by your detail on all accounts. This is a story I can see very vividly, thanks to all your by-the-way description, the icing on the cake. Bandy's memory of the Spring Festival was lovely, and just as endearing as everything else that comes out of his mouth! Save smoke, that is. Kudos to Legolas for keeping Hildaf off it; "I would not recommend it," could qualify for the understatement of the week. ;)
Oh, and yes, I could see Legolas with a spatula just as easily as a bow! And Bandy's devoted affection is so CUTE!!!

I definately have a targeting cross painted on Elgamoth's face now. If nothing else, he just gives me the creeps right off the page.

I knew something had to happen; my "emergency-cliffhanger" radar was sounding loud and clear even before Faramir had his 'premonition'. But cripes! Explosive lances?! Someone is really going all-out, and needless to say I am very worried about Legolas at this point. I present only two fanfic regulations here: (1) Don't kill him; (2) no permanant crippling damage, please! Poor guy.

I know this next week will crawl past in a suffocating cloud of note-taking and grammarizing, and assigned reading. How will we survive until Monday?!?!
;)

Oh wow! I was expecting some sort of trickery, but never this! Oh, oh, looks like Legolas' disguise is going to be lost after all, and the goat will have to give way to the lion sooner than they thought.

So, someone stole the knights' weapons knowing that they would have to borrow them from the ceremonies' master, which were sabotaged? But then, did all the weapons have bombs planted in them (or whatever it was)? How else would the person know which weapon would go to the knight matched against Lasgalen (I'm giving Belecthor the benefit of the doubt here). But then any other knight might have been hurt, not just Lasgalen and the Blue Knight. Although I suppose they could know the order from the lists, but then why steal the other knights' weapons and risk the wrong one getting the sabotaged lance? Ah, I'll trust everything will be made clear in time.

Beautiful description and lovely writing, as always. The opening, describing that feast, made me hungry! I must remember not to read this before lunch. And Aragorn's letter made me smile. If he's going to be writing in haste, he needs fewer names.

With a cliff-hanger like that, please, please update soon!

Lamiel
