Author Reply: Hi Galathil,
thank you so much for your nice words! It's good to have been missed. I will do my best to finish this story now. I always knew how I wanted to end it, but didn't have any inspiration for the middle part, and I was so over-stressed with my job for so long that my creative juices just stopped flowing.
Hopefully, I will have an update for you later this week. :-)

|After so many years of no new chapters, I was resigned to being disappointed that the story hadn't been continued. Now with the new year, I am very happy to see this new chapter! I very much like your portrayal of a young Eomer with all the self-doubts and insecurities of a young man in any time or culture. Perhaps you can combine your talents of writing and photography to illustrate your story!|
Author Reply: HI S!
I'm quite surprised to be writing again, too! The workload had increased to much over the past years that it killed my creative juices, but during the Christmas break, I suddenly felt something coming back... I'm pretty sure I will finish this story now and hope to have the next chapter ready hopefully sometime this week.
Thanks for letting me know your thoughts and that you are enjoying my little story. I hope the rest of it will be to your taste, as well.
As for using photography to illustrate my story: wouldn't that be something? I would actually not know how to do it, but when I write, I usually see the scenes like a movie in my head, complete with cast and all...
While I'm going with the movies when it comes to casting Éomer, Theoden and Eowyn (all of them younger, of course), I'd like a younger Stellan Skarsgard for Elfhelm, Garrett Hedlund for Théodred and Chris Hemsworth for Bard... Now all I need is to find fund for the movie... ;-)
