I enjoyed reading this very much! It was a beautiful glimpse of Galadriel's thoughts! I loved the contrast between Feanor and Gimli's request for a strand of her hair; and her response to that desire. The way her memories were recalled by each phrase was perfect, and an inspired retelling of Middle Earth's history. I liked seeing how she gained better understanding of herself and the other Ringbearers; and the people that they had met through the years. Many thanks for posting this! :)

Author Reply: Thank you! I didn't pay much attention to Gimli's request when I first read the book, but then I've read the Silmarillion, and realized what just Gimli has requested - something that se refused to Feanor himself, the inspiration for the creation of Silmarils... It made me look at her granting the request in an entirely new life.

OK, this month I can't say I recognized you for sure. ;) But I was really enchanted with this story from the very beginning and it was among my favorites. Beautifully done, as always, dear!

Author Reply: Thank you very much! Galadriel is not a character I use to write about, but I like her a lot, so I gave it a try =)
