| This is beautiful. I love how you capture both the wonder and the sadness through Cirdan's eyes. I like that you didn't have the 3 ambassadors be the chieftains of the kindreds. I love how you showed the 3 kindreds to be distinct yet one people. I liked how you portrayed Cirdan's mixed emotions regarding leaving. I like how excited Orome is and how hurt he felt when Cirdan didn't immediately want to be his friend. Poor Cirdan losing his wife. It makes the horror of what Morgoth did even more impactful when you can put names to those taken. It was quite a surprise to have Miriel be Cirdan's daughter. | This is very well done. I enjoyed being in the mind of this first born among the First Born. The imagery, innocence, and call of the waters was wonderful while the new experiences and heaviness of the dark hunter, sorrow and fear were strong and troubling. Very nicely presented! | |
