Very sad but very well-written as always. Author Reply: Thank you dear! It finally insisted it was time to be told.

And it is no wonder that she refuses to come here again. One of the saddest of the events in the Shire's history. Author Reply: Definitely. 8-(

Oh. *Oh.* *shudder* This was...hauntingly beautiful, chilling, and sad. Oh, Dreamflower! And I can just imagine Primula almost being a substitute for Pearl, and now these two are experiencing that loss all over again...oh, dear. *wants to hug Paladin's sisters tightly* Of course it's Frodo that should have most of the hugs, but not all of them - Rory lost his sister, Saradoc his aunt...oh, this is terrible :( (Don't get me wrong, it's an AWESOME story, it's just the situation that's terrible for all concerned!!!) I'm going to spend part of my Monday morning weeping, I'm afraid...this story is so alive to me, so meaningful. I'm glad your Muse insisted and that you shared it with us, Dreamflower! *goes to find blanket to cuddle under and ice water to drink, and hopes for more Ancestress and other updates soon* Your devoted friend and obsessed fan, Kaylee Author Reply: It truly was a dreadfully sad thing! The song that inspired it was so horribly sad also (and based on real life too). I resisted writing it for a very long time, but finally knew that it needed to be told.
