| oy...I'm on the edge of my seat. I still don't think I like the idea of Frodo leaving Linwe behind... I know! Linwe could be a stow away--like Isengar! A beautiful chapter, Myst. :-) "She had spoken to Frodo so bravely of being content for what ever time she could have with him, even if only a day. It was easy to be brave when she did not understand the depth of the sacrifice." - MW Isn't that so true? We never think of the consequences of our impetuous actions until it's behind us. They say hinde-sight is 20/20. And the "memorizing"...lovely. Pippin's doing a bit of "memorizing" in an unnamed story...but that is for another time. The conversation in the shed between Sam, Merry, and Pippin was delightfully lighthearted--something I definitely enjoy after all the dramas I've been reading and writing lately! | I haven't often read and responded here, or at ff.net, as I have read nearly all of this during various stages of its being written and made my comments then. We have laughed and cried and argued together while this story was birthed and raised to maturity. It is a fine, wonderful, heartfelt story; giving Frodo a chance at happiness with a true love that Tolkien denied him. I am looking foreward to both of your further stories of Frodo and Linwe. | Oh no, I wish Frodo wouldn't leave! or at least Linwe be allowed to go with him. I tore my way through this story in two days, and now you've updated...yay! This story is enjoyable, though sad as well. I like the way Linwe and Frodo are connected. I was wondering, if he dies, would she? Hmmm. Please keep writing :) Author Reply: WOOHOO!!!
