Heh! Now, THAT is a name to raise curiosity in the likes of Haldir, if I am not mistaken! Poor Haldir still hasn't realized he is not in his own WHEN.

Author Reply: Yes, THAT name certainly would get Haldir's attention, but, as you said, he hasn't figured things out yet.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh! I really like this!

I'm guessing that Haldir was transported back in time as well as location?

The culture shock aspect of this fic is going to be interesting, I can tell.

I'm also very happy that his brothers are going to be all right. It would have been a terrible burden to him if they really had been dead, as he assumed when he saw them on the ground at Helm's Deep.

I'm looking forward to reading your future chapters, to see just what Haldir experiences next. Well done!

Author Reply: I'm very glad you like this story so far :-)

Much has happened to Haldir indeed! It is a great comfort to him that his brothers are alive as well.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I wish I could've seen the look on his face! *giggles*

Author Reply: Yes, the look on his face probably was priceless. LOL!

Hm, hunch confirmed...at the end of the last chapter, I suspected that Haldir had somehow been thrown back in time. It will be interesting to see how he adjusts.

Author Reply: Haldir does have many interesting times ahead of him and a great deal of adjustment. I hope you will let me knwo what you think of his adjustment period.

"Beleriand?" Oh, my! Help me remember, was that before the creation of the son and moon? Maybe all that these people KNOW are the stars and the Two Trees? Are any of you familiar with the old television series "The Twilight Zone"? Come to think of it, THAT would be a perfect name for a suspense story starring ancient elves! But now, the issue remains, are these warriors really dead, or in some kind of limbo? I will be anxiously awaiting!

Author Reply: Beleriand was both before and after the creation of the sun and the moon. How is that for an unhelpful answer?

I loved "The Twilight Zone". It was one of my favorite shows.

As for what happened to the warriors...tune in next week...and the next..and...LOL!

I'm sorry. I know Haldir's frustrated. But I was rolling at the poor elleth's dilemma. 'Which star do you call Anor?' I was howling! And the continued misunderstanding. Priceless. I'm so glad you carried it out further! I felt like I was listening to the 'who's on first' joke. Always a knee-slapper.

BTW - I know a few people whom I would love to 'sing' to sleep! LOL

Oh my! What a great ending.

This is indeed a fun tale. I can't wait for more. Thanks so much for sharing it. You have made my evening filled with smiles.

Author Reply: You know, I had so much fun trying to think of how many different ways she could misinterpret what Haldir was trying to say. And it is such fun bring out Haldir's "annoyed captain" side. I'm very happy that you laughed.

I know many people who I would love to sing to sleep as well...

I'm so pleased you are enjoying this story and that I am making you smile. I really needed to hear that as I face a long series of life events that are making me not smile. You have made my day, Thank you!

LOL! "In Beleriand of course" Oh dear, oh dear...*snicker* I wonder just what Lord Namo pulled there...

(As for "what is the deal with 'Ellis'" from Fiondil...I put it down to a typo. The "e" is just above the "s" on a typical American keyboard - I bet his finger just slipped, LOL. :) Stuff happens. *hopes Ellie is not mad with my atar indonyo*)

Kaylee

Author Reply: It may not have been Namo who pulled anything or it might have been, I won't tell - at least not yet. LOL!

But, yes, we are not necessarily in Kansas anymore, Toto.

As for the Ellis part, I was teasing Fiondil for mistyping my name. I do not think he would hesitate to tease me for mistyping his name.

Hi Ellie, I like this story very much. Poor Haldir. I can so symathize with him. Beleriand? Uh, oh has he made a time travel? How interesting, or is he simply fantasizing? Eager to read more. Thank you for a lovely and intriguing story. Lai

Poor Haldir is indeed in an interesting situation. He doesn't understand it yet, but he will soon enough. It doesn't mean he will like it necessarily, but he will understand it at least. muwahahahaha I mean LOL

Oh my. Haldir is very, VERY lost, isn't he?
Also: “ANOR IS NOT A STAR!”
-snickers- Oh, the irony. ;)

Can't wait to read more,
Whispy

Author Reply: Yes, our dear Haldir, is very very lost indeed! He doesn't quite get it yet, but he will soon. I admit I had way too much fun with the ANOR IS NOT A STAR line. LOL!
