| This is a very sweet story. A wise man knows when to work on documents... and when to make a memory for his son to treasure always. Author Reply: Shirebound! Exactly! Faramir as a father knows that being a father means these kinds of moments with your son. Like I said in my other story Faramir's son will never have cause to wonder if his father loves him. | What a wonderful father/son moment. I had to laugh at the story of Faramir and Boromir releasing the lizard accidentally onto the lady guest. But Faramir and his small son are the heart of this sweet story. Author Reply: I'm so glad you liked it! It is sort of a companion piece to "A Bond Remembered" which shows Faramir as a child and how he was treated by his father. I wanted to show the difference between the two upbringings. Faramir as child and Faramir as father. BTW, are you the same Daw that has posted on HennethAnnun.net? If so I just wanted to say I've read your stories about Legolas and truly loved them. I thought they created a wonderfully realised Mirkwood for Legolas to grow up in. I really enjoyed them and have re-read them a couple of times! The quality of the storytelling was excellent! | |
