| I thought immediately of Neil Gaimon's "Stardust." I am so glad she has survived and will fly again above the world. Saw one falling star that broke into a line of golden fire, then two and finally three as it breached our atmosphere out over Canada. It was so beautiful! Thank you for this one--I so rejoice Gwaihir arrived in time. Author Reply: I haven't had "Stardust" in mind when I got the idea for this, in fact, I didn't remember it until Fiondil mentioned it yesterday, in his review. I believe that it was the approaching season of Perseids meteor shower that had inspired me. Thank you for your kind review, I am glad you like it. :) | |

| Ohhh, what a magical story, and such a lovely ending. Legolas will perform few deeds in his life as worthy of song and story as this one, yet he probably will tell very few people about it. | This was a delightful and unusual tale and it got one of my votes at Teitho. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm glad Legolas was able to rescue the star. I bet no one will believe him when he tells them the tale, assuming he ever does. It rather reminded me of the excellent movie, "Stardust" in part.
