A nifty spin of a tale that never fails to fascinate. I like this glimpse of young, wistful and unsure Aragorn; feeling somewhat adrift among the men he was born to lead until his skills as a healer are needed. Halbarad and OC Vardamir are well written too. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased that you enjoyed this story. It was fun to imagine Aragorn before he became the mature confident leader we know and love.

Certainly a welcome change from the suspicion he's known till now. Author Reply: He must have been so relieved when they finally accepted him.

Thank you for the lovely read. It's as much fun for the second time as it was for the first one. :) Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm so pleased this story worked for you as I so rarely write about this time in Aragorn's life.

As I told you before I liked this gap filler very much. I can so see something like this happening to Aragorn when he returned to his people. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I always imagined it took Aragorn a while to become the confident leader we know and love.
