Oh my gosh! So sad. But very well written and I want to read more! I noticed that you didn't include a meaning for Thranduil's name and Just want to let you know that his name means "vigorous spring". :)

Author Reply: thank you so much. I´m glad you like the start to my story. Read more as you wish. It´s already finished and tell me how you liked it, yes? Thank you for the meaning of Thranduil´s name - I have included it. Lai

Hi Lai, how remiss of me, I thought I had reviewed the last chapter. As usual very enjoyable and sad.Nice to see that Legolas made it home, and life has returned to some sort of normality.I know that there will be a hole in their lives until they all sail but until then duty calls.May the Valar bless them and keep them safe.Namarie Galathil
ps Look forward to your next story.

Author Reply: Hi galathil, no problem, really. I treasure every review whenever it comes in. I´m so glad you liked the chapter ecen if it was verx sad. Yes, there will be a hole in their lives but it has made then to the elves they are now and duty often help. Thank you so much for reviewing and I hope you like my new story also. Lai

Well done. The Thrandulions come across very well.

Author Reply: thank you so much. They are a troubling family and I´m glad that I could let them appear real to you. Thank you so much for reviewing and following the story. Lai

Yes, little Legolas was definitely acting out. Too bad they didn't have books detailing the five stages of grief; it might have helped THranduil understand why his son was acting as he did. *grin* Well, at least they have a good relatinoship now and hopefully Legolas and his father and brothers can help with Elrond's family, having already been through it. Nice story, Lai. I enjoyed it very much.

Author Reply: thank you. I´m glad you liked my little story. Yes this book might have helped poor Thranduil. He´s after all the one with no shoulder to lean on and if his sons are in any way like him, then it will ever be difficult, yet they are a very unique band of elves and for this we love them, right? Thank you so much for reviewing, Fiondil. I really appreciate it. Lai

Very sweet and almost wrenched a few tears from me. ALMOST! Excellent story.

Author Reply: only almost? I think it´s worth one tear. LOL! I´m so glad you liked my story that much. Thank you for letting me know. Lai

Ah! the little one is home, an occasion for rejoicing. How fortunate he was found by chance by Elrond and Glorfindal! You have portrayed the emotional traumas of the family so well, and I suspect that caring for little Legolas will play a huge part in helping each one of them come to terms with Elarynia's fatal decision to dismiss her guards. Elrond to face his own wife's tragedy!! Truly is your story entitled 'Fate'.

Looking forward to the next chapter Lai.

Author Reply: I´m so glad that I portrayed the emotional trauma of the royal family well. Exactly this was my intention and you are right caring for little Legolas will help them all. Elrond had glimpsed into a tragedy he will soon face himself, but fortunately he does not yet know. Thank you so much for a most appreciated review. Lai

So very glad the family has been reunited. And yes, poor Elrond will soon share in great sorrow.

Author Reply: hopefully Elrond will benefit from these experiences but we all know that he will find no comfort...thank you for reviewing. I really appreciate it. Lai

Well, little Legolas is back home with his ada and brothers, but I suspect that there is more trouble to come. Poor Elrond. We know what will happen to him in the near future.

Author Reply: yes, Legolas is back home but that has, as you rightly expected, not solved all problems. Sadly Elrond will soon make his own experiences and surely remeber back at these days. Thank you for a much appreciated review, Fiondil. Lai

Wonderful story! I love how you portray Thranduil and his family dealing with the grief. Poor Legolas... I hope he will get over the trauma eventually. And I already feel for Elrond for the future he will have to face.

Thank you for this great fanfic, I´m waiting eagerly for more! :)

Author Reply: I thank YOU for this lovely review and I´m glad you liked my story so much. More is coming soon, promise! The last chapter will let us glimpse how the family is dealing with the grief in the future and there is surely a long way ahead of them. Elrond will need all our comfort even if he does not know it yet.

What a shock for Saeron to realize he wasn't the only one who was hurting. Now the family can begin to heal. Best of all, the news about young Legolas has completely lifted their spirits.

I am thoroughly enjoying this story, and look forward to the next chapter.

Author Reply: it´s a common concept that in your grief you fail to notice the others are hurting too but Saeron has seen that in time. Real healing can now begin with all of them reunited. I´m so glad you are enjoying the story and want to thank you so much for a most appreciated review. Lai
