| He has reason to be glad to have been there at Halbarad's death, knowing his beloved kinsman left this life with full honor and no regrets. And Boromir knew his comfort also at the end, and knew the forgiveness he needed. Now Faramir can feel the healing hands of the king touch the memories of his father and his brother's failings, and find comfort in his love for them.
