That was an unusual pairing. But it made so much sense. I love the give and take between Gandalf and Gilraen. Both of them gave and got comfort in their grief. Author Reply: Thank you! I was given the prompt and Gilraen came to my mind immediately (I am working still on a big Arathorn/Gilraen romance and it fits so well in that). Once done writing I sat back and wondered: they really compliment the other.

It's good to see something from you again, Rhapsody. You've been gone from SoA way too long. How does one comfort and console a Maia, indeed? Yet, there had to be times when such comfort was needed. I'm glad that Gandalf and Gilraen could console one another and give one another a new sense of Estel. They both need it, though for different reasons. I'm glad Larner gave you this bunny. It was very well done. Author Reply: Dear Fiondil, and it looks like I have such scarce moments to be around. This was a fantastic prompt, I couldn't resist weaving in the theme of Arthabeth Finrod ah Andreth here, an essay/story that has given me so much inspiration the past year. Having lost some close and dear people around me, the sense of Estel has been a lot on my mind, the rawness of grief... Gandalf must have felt so responsible and Gilraen so alone and bereft of her happiness. They both have Aragorn to look after, playing each their unique parts of what lies ahead of them. Thank you for your wonderful review!
