The Gift that finally came  by Rhapsody 1 Review(s)
FiondilReviewed Chapter: 1 on 2/1/2013
Ah... Pippin got a puppy. How cute and I well remember the "you got more gifts than I did" complaint of childhood. It's so true and it didn't matter that your gifts were actually more expensive than someone else's and that's why you don't have as many. Numbers count as any child will tell you. I too am not a dog person but I have had cats and they were my dear companions with whom I shared my thoughts and dreams as they lay beside me or cuddled in my lap.

I especially liked the following: "...feisty Pepper had been called home to Huan’s halls and would forever roam on the green grasses, chasing down rabbits and other wildlife that would give him a merry chase."

That's so cool.

Author Reply: Hi Fiondil,

First my apologies for replying so late to this review. RL keeps me quite busy and I can't frequent this site as much as I'd like to.

When this request was given to me I went: ut oh, I am such a cat person, how on earth will I pull off a story with dogs in it? But in the end it really doesn't matter, does it? Pets are such wonderful companions (our household has, after a 6 years absence of pets, 3 gold fishes who provide much needed entertainment for my family).

And yes, I thought that would make a wonderful addition, that even our pets will get their own Elysian fields after all they have done for their caretakers. :)

Thank you for your wonderful review!!
