Valiant  by Kara's Aunty 4 Review(s)

Snomane's Howe must have become a popular monument in the ensuing years. He was faithful until the end, and deserved to be remembered with the respect given him.

Poor Theoden and poor Snowmane. So long together and died together. Somehow that is appropriate but how grieved they must have been that such a loyal horse and friend was the cause, if horses can grieve.

Namarie, God bless, Your berry :)

Author Reply: Hello bloom,

sorry it's taken me so long to reply. Poor Snowmane. Always getting the blame for killing Théoden, when it was out of his hands. Or should I say hooves?

*grins*

Personally, I blame the dart that felled Snowmane for Théoden's death. And the wicked Enemy that fired it. At least said enemy probably perished not long afterwards, and so couldn't slay any more innocent horses. Or brave kings.

Thanks for R & R-ing, cuz. Hope you and yours are well, and that your book is a bestseller!

Very positive, indeed. Poor fellow.

Author Reply: Hello again!

Poor fellow, indeed. At least he got a marker. And the grass grew sweet and strong over his mound. Not that he can eat it ...

*sniggers*

I know. I'm bad.

Thanks for R & R-ing,

M ;)

I love this. None of the fallen heroes should be forgotten, and this is a wonderful tribute.

Author Reply: Hello shirebound,

how right. They should all be honoured, man, beast or otherwise. And I'm honoured you find Windfola's drabble a fitting tribute.

Thanks very much for R & R-ing,

M ;)

Author Reply: I wrote Windfola. I meant Snowmane ...
