But what brought tears of joy to his eyes was the sound of Elven voices raised in a Shire carol.

Beautiful! I would have loved to hear and see that.

Lovely Dreamflower. I especially liked how Frodo actually felt comfortable with being blindfolded and that his trip to Mordor had actually enhanced that feeling.

Ah, I love the anticipation of pleasure Frodo feels here rather than anxiety as he allows himself to be blindfolded. And what a joyous reason! Delightful!

Sweet story - I like to think Celebrian had a hand in Frodo's healing. Hantanyel for another look into that.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

And I rejoice he did not have to wait alone for that day of reunion, and that he had such friends as Celebrian to be by him.

Beautifully written and with an end full of hope. I liked it very much!

I, too, was certain that Celebrian would be there for both her husband and her mother, and that it would delight the Hobbits to see that reunion. And I'm not at all surprised that Goldberry would advise the denizens of the Lonely Island through her own lord of what kind of home the Hobbits would prefer. It's perfect for them!

So delightful a chapter, and I rejoice that Elrond and Galadriel find their beloved one fully healed herself.

Author Reply: It seemed certain to me that between Earendil and Eagles, Celebrian would have been informed of her husband and mother coming. But who could have told her anything about hobbits? Goldberry just popped into my head from nowhere! But of course she and Tom had been neighbors to hobbits for generations!

In my 'verse her friendship with Frodo is important to his healing, though I only give hints of it. But that means she must be fully healed herself.

What a beautiful story for Nilmandra's birthday, Dreamflower. It made me smile to when Bilbo saw Celebrian and realized who she must be. A beautiful promise of a someday even more joyful reunion. I loved that the hobbits have their own beautiful home to enjoy. and Goldberry was the icing on the cake. A lovely story - thank you.

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad I made you smile.

Thank you also for letting me know it was Nilmandra's birthday, so that I had a chance to be a part of this "birthday party"!
