Thanks a lot, now you've gone and made me cry when I'm supposed to be doing homework. But, seriously, that was beautiful. A little Niggle makes everything better.

Author Reply: Thank you, dear! "Not all tears are an evil."

An interesting tale and I am glad is going to wait for his dear ones and be surrounded by others so dear while he does so. I love Leaf by Niggle. And I noticed the nod to Narnia too.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Yes, certainly a little nod to Narnia as well.

It just made sense to me that Bilbo would wait. He never really Adventured alone; he knows the value of sharing.

Again, such a wonderful mixture of TH, LOTR, and Leaf by Niggle! So right for our Bilbo as he seeks to find the Heart of the Mountains!

Author Reply: Thank you so much, dear, for commenting here as well!

I had not thought of that last bit of symbolism--but it too, fits!

Awww. Primula's greeting brought tears to my eyes. Lovely vision of what comes after. Beautifully done!

Author Reply: I like to think that Primula and Drogo watched over their son, and that one of the first things they'd do was to thank Bilbo for taking care of him for them.

I just had to write this one, apparently, before I could break my block on covering this time in "Ancestress". I guess I just had to make sure Bilbo was well on his way, before I could deal with the others and their grief.
