A story as sweet as the hobbits' cakes, but not as sugary. Aragorn has had a lot to be grim about in his life; it is nice, and fitting, that he show his great happiness with a smile. Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm delighted you enjoyed my story.Aragorn did indeed have a grim life, but now he has a chance of happiness.

It is a delight as always to read about Faramir. :) I love that scene in the book of him waking to see Aragorn there. And I love Pippin's insistence to send hobbity love to their king. That would have elicited a smile I'm sure. And of course, it ends with a smile, as I knew it would. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm delighted you enjoyed my story. Faramir's healing is my favourite part of the book.May God bless you too.

"He is smiling now," said Pippin. "I think it is the happiest smile I've ever seen!" And it is no wonder that it was so! After all Aragorn waited a very long time for this moment. Last but not least: Pippin is just wonderful in this little story! Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm delighted you enjoyed my story. Aragorn did indeed wait a long time. I'm pleased you liked Pippin here.

This was adorable! I love Pippin chiding Faramir about his appetite, but being perfectly willing to eat the Steward's share of the cakes. And insisting that Faramir give the King their *love* and not just "greetings". And I am very glad that Pippin now knows why Aragorn was waiting to smile! Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm honoured that someone who writes Hobbits so well enjoyed my story.Pippin is fun to write.
