Oh my! Laurehér has fangirls!

Author Reply: Yes, he sure does...and it is obviously a bit embarrassing. Poor guy!

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Hello Ellie,

I really like this story, though everytime I start a new chapter I'm in mortal fear of finding out what will happen now in his budding relationship with Faroniel...I wouldn't like to be Earwen at this point, would be horrible to discover your husband cheated on you with someone else, when he is supposed to be saving the world, even though he lost his memories...

Also poor ellon!! Having to deal with all that lusty looks of certain females and the glares of the males in the village...thank god he has his armor!!

Great chapter!!

Monalex

Author Reply: Hey Monalex, I appreciate you reading in spite of not knowing what you will face each chapter :-) I would not want to be Earwen either, but for a different reason. She has no knowledge whatsoever of what is transpiring in Middle-Earth and does not even know if her husband or any of the others who left are alive. Despite that huge uncertainty, she has to keep everyone in her kingdom functioning while none of them know what has or is transpiring in Middle-Earth either. So much of the labor force skilled and otherwise and the leadership left to go fight...

I am sure Arafinwe is most grateful for his armor at this point. This whole experience would be new to him even if he had all of his memories intact, but I don't think he would have handled it as well as he is now. Not that he necessarily is handling things that well anyway.

Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing! I am glad you are enjoying the story :-)

After reading every new chapter, I invariably think: "Poor, poor Arafinwe. And poor Faroniel. I wonder where it can go from now on." We know that canonically Arafinwe is supposed to return to Valinor (because he walks there with Finrod), but I am not at all sure what is going to happen in this story. Which is a good thing. Cringeworthy situations A. finds himself in this chapter are probably a unique experience for an elf-lord. And who would think that armor normally used for the defence against Balrogs etc. would be put on to defend oneself against over-eager women and jealous husbands :)

Author Reply: The War of Wrath lasted for a long time and who knows what all really happened during it? The situations certainly were "cringeworthy". I like the way you put that. I seriously doubt he ever before experienced such things as an elf-lord. Poor guy! At least he had armor to put on to protect himself!

Thank you very much for reading and reviewing! I appreciate it very much!

Poor ellon, having to put up with females leering at him and discussing his many fine attributes where he can hear, but Faroniel's sister was way out of line. Must be hormones or something. *grin* Laurehér is wise to armor himself. I certainly would have.

Author Reply: I'm sure Faroniel's sister was not the only one experiencing surging hormones. Poor Arafinwe! Armor can be useful in many forms of conflict, as he is discovering!

Thank you for reading and reviewing! I appreciate it very much!

There is a point at which such talk goes far beyond flattering to insulting, and I think he's found it. Tathariel should be spanked for her own behavior! Don't blame him for arming himself, by the way. I'd have done so, too, at that point!

Author Reply: Oh, he definitely found it insulting and shocking. He was totally unprepared for such behavior as he witnessed. Faroniel may have thought he was overreacting, but he certainly doesn't think so!

Thank you for reading and reviewing! I appreciate it very much!
