New siblings who are cousins will be good for them all.

Author Reply: Absolutely! Thre'll be the occasional bump in the road but they'll get past them.

Farry does sound amazingly mature and understanding for his age, but then, with the parents he's got, it's not that surprising.

Looking forward to reading more, next chance I get.

Author Reply: I'm so glad you got a chance to read a little today.

Faramir is mature for his years but, like you said, his parents are pretty special. He also has been an only child for almost eight years and onlies do tend to be old souls.

As the perpetual second mum myself, I feel with them, and am glad they have this chance to help make life as good as possible for Bandy and Ruby.

Author Reply: Thanks for the review, Larner.

I hope I can capture the integration of the new children well. I'm a little worried about that since I never had siblings.

What a lovely chapter. My parents were thinking about adopting a child when I was about 8 years old (it didn't work out) and I wonder now what I would have said if they had consulted with me.

Author Reply: Glad you liked the chapter. I was in a similar situation to yours. I was five and my parents were trying to adopt. They didn't say anything to me because they didn't want me to get my hopes up. It fell through too. Back then they just didn't let disabled people adopt even if it would have been the perfect place for a special needs child.

Hope the rest of the story lives up to expectation. Thanks again for the review.

I think that this is a really good direction for this story, and opens up so many possibilities. It will definitely be hard for Pippin and Diamond, and also for the children, yet it will be good in the long run.

I think this is going to make Pippin think about Frodo a lot. (There's no date of death for Esmeralda in the Family Tree. Is she still alive in your universe? If she is, she could have some good advice for Pippin and Diamond.)

I like Faramir, so serious for one so young, and pretty wise as well. He'll make a good big brother for the little ones.

Author Reply: I'm glad this is making sense and seems like a good direction. I will say that the Powers That Be have a couple of surprises in store for this family. :)

You're right, I bet memories of Frodo do keep cropping up. I will have to look at the family tree and see when I think Esmeralda may have died. I know that I have Eglantine dying about a year and a half before this story opens. You've definitely given me something to think about on this.

Something tells me that if I thought the last story I wrote was long, this one's going to make it seem short.

Thanks for the review and the ideas.
