Ah, lads and lasses who are drawn together who drive one another crazy! Thanks for the laugh!

Author Reply: I know about that first hand and this was one of those moment that wrote itself. My ex and I couldn't stand each other as kids yet we were somehow drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. Sadly though, now we'd just ss soon not be around each other and his wife was apparently very relieved when I married my current husband.

Like father, like son... a herd of young (tart-stealing) hobbits! Hah!

I love practical Regi, living in blissful ignorance.

Pippin and Diamond's farewell is so sweet.

Ah, yes, those "best parts"...

And I love that Goldy and Faramir are clearly an item. LOL!

Author Reply: Really glad you were able to pop in and read a bit.

I actually think Faramir is a little more grounded than his dad. I have a feeling it may be Sassy they have to worry about more.

Regi is truly Pippin's right-hand hobbit.

Farewells and reunions are the best and oh yes those "best parts..." are awesome.

Fraramir and Goldy truly have a love-hate relationship these days. :)

Thanks again for taking the time to read and leave a review.

Oh, this chapter is hilarious! Poor Faramir--what a prank! It's a good thing Diamond did not go along! And Pippin and Sam both so easily figuring out the future.

Much as I imagine Rosie and Sam had an understanding from their youngest years as well. Poor Farry had his own crosses to bear, it appears.

Author Reply: They say if he/she plays horrible pranks on you, it must be love. I may have to think of some revenge for Faramir but something that won't get him in too much trouble. :)

“You know,” said Pippin when there were no young ears to hear, “we’re going to have our hands full when those two reach courting age.”

“No, we won’t” answered Sam. “It will be the easiest match the Shire has ever seen.

I love that! Ohhhh, how I would love to attend the Fair with the hobbits. I look forward to seeing it through their eyes.

Author Reply: I know there are several of us authors that have Faramir and Goldy together from the start. I love that thought. :)

As for the Fair, I hope I can do it justice. I'm going to our State Fair next Monday and I usually get a lot of hobbity inspiration from it. I'm hoping I can use it to make this chapter really good.

Thanks for the encouragement.
