| Have been rereading the whole story as I first read them in late 2014, and so much of it I'd forgotten. Love the presence of the Hobbit lawyers. How important such would have been to the so conservative Shire-folk with their love of red ink and seven witnesses for each legal document. Author Reply: Somebody had to keep track of all that red ink and witnesses. It's a good think that they're such a peaceful people. If they'd have had to deal with criminal law as well as all the wills, deeds, contracts and marriage certificates, they have drown in red ink. :D | |

| Happiness is there for this growing family, and it's wonderful to know that Sapphire shares her father's Sight. Glad that Bandy and Faramir are getting good training in pony riding from Merry, and that all are now looking forward to the day that the adoption of Bandy and Ruby is final. Author Reply: Thanks, Larner. Hope this story lives up to my hope. :) Yes, I had to give at least one of Pippin's children his gift. Sassy really is a gift to them from the Valar. | What a fun chapter! I loved seeing Pippin with his daughters, and Merry giving the lads their riding lessons. I know that this year The Birthday at Bag End is going to be extra special!
